Colt Creek State Park Half-Marathon

Finished up in 2:27:30, I think 6th in the wider than usual age group (40-49)? I’m satisfied with that time considering heat and overall lack of trail running experience. Not a challenging course though, almost all of it was flat, grassy path large enough for a full size vehicle. Scenery was nice but repetitive (typical Florida scrub, cabbage palms and pine trees). The park had nice facilities so that was a definite perk!! The medal looks like the sign coming into the park. It was a good morning overall!
